It’s that time of year when we all start to think about Christmas shopping, but before you head out to the shops (or stay on the sofa & browse Amazon) you’ll need some Christmas gift ideas.
Maybe your children and relatives know exactly what they want (lucky you) or maybe you are in need of some inspiration?
We’ve put together a list of ideas by age groups that will hopefully inspire you on your Christmas shopping expedition. It doesn’t have to be a gift that can sit under the Christmas Tree, perhaps a day out, experience or a set of lessons for an activity.
We have looked on the Mumbler Facebook Group for all your brilliant recommendations and searched for the top selling toys this year across Amazon, The Toy Shop and many more.
All prices shown were correct and the cheapest we could find online at the time of writing this post.
🎁🎁🎁 Under 3’s 🎁🎁🎁
1. Musical instruments ⭐️ Recommended by Mumblers ⭐️
Another absolute favourite from Mumblers. Yes, there are other toy kitchens available but you get a lot of kitchen for your money with this one from Ikea, so if you have the space in your own kitchen it makes a perfect toy for your toddler to play along with whilst you cook (or drink a nice cup of tea!).
Orchard Games are brillant fun for all the family and great for children to learn from… there is a brillant range of games, so this suggestion could easily apply to older children too. Pigs in Pants is a particular favourite in our house 🐷
Granted once you get a Playmobil set you will forever be scrabbling around on the floor picking up tiny shoes, saucepans and the like, but your children can make some brillant scenes and they really get to use their imaginations.
4. Adjustable Roller Boots ⭐️ Recommended by Mumblers ⭐️
Again, another popular item on Mumblers lists and this Karaoke machine looks brillant. With bluetooth audio streaming, built-in speakers, lights that change with the music and two microphone jacks what more could you ask for?
If you children love crafts but have enough pens & crayons to open their own branch of WH Smiths, then this neon board is something a bit different. It uses LED lights to create a glowing effect and has a stand so you can display your artwork.
If you know someone who loves LEGO but you want something a bit different, then this is perfect. Step by step instructions to make your own LEGO movie on your phone or tablet.

Is your house taken over by toys? Why not treat your child (and really the whole family) to a experience or a trip out rather than buying more ‘stuff’. What a brillant way to make some special family memories. Below are some brillant suggestions from Mumblers…
And finally, to end this Christmas Shopping round-up with the first thing your child might open on Christmas morning – their Christmas stocking. Here are some great ideas from the Mumbler Group, although I am sure most people have their own traditions of things they like to include.
New character design toothbrush
Pens & crayons
Hot wheels car
Small card game
Character mug & hot chocolate
Glow in the dark stickers
Small lego set or mini-figures
Great shop recommendations for stocking fillers include: Hobbycraft, Wilko & Poundland! 🧦🧦🧦🧦
