Spring cheers us all up! What better way to take in the signs than heading to Dalby? Spot the leaves unfurl, wildlife emerge and colour come back to our favourite scenes. With lots of trails, open spaces and plenty to do, it’s the perfect spot. We’re also excited about our fab new café at the Visitor Centre, offering hot drinks, cakes, snacks and hot meals. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Our arts programme at Dalby goes from strength to strength, capturing imaginations and sparking creativity. Over the coming months we have something
for everyone, from theatre performance to hands-on practical sessions. On 21 March is Made of Nowhere by Common Ground Theatre, a captivating blend of poetry, music, story and song. Bookings are also open for Words in the Woods, stone carving with Peter Maris, Fragile Enchantments & Making Creative Artist Books and a singing workshop.
We’re excited for this year’s Forest Live concerts at Dalby! On Friday 26 June we welcome back Yorkshire’s finest, Kaiser Chiefs. They have become one of the most successful British guitar bands of the millennium, so we’re in for an explosive live show. The next night, we greet Will Young and James Morrison. These very special concerts will see both BRIT Award winning artists perform individual full length headline sets that include greatest hits and material from their latest albums.
Have you pulled on your running shoes yet this year? We have lots of ways to get the miles under your belt here at Dalby. Try one of our dedicated running routes – from 1km upwards – or there’s our popular parkrunevery Saturday. We also host events including Canicross for you and your four legged friend and the first ever Dalby Colour Run. There are fewer than 100 places left for this year’s Dalby Dash in autumn, so get booking soon!
