Dean Road Chapel and the Mortuary Chapel will be open for the public to visit, and the surrounding cemetery will host a Heritage Fair, with information about local heritage organisations plus stalls and refreshments.
The Fair will be open from 11.00 am till 3.00 pm on Sunday 9th September. There will be the opportunity to see inside both the Mortuary chapel which was restored by the Friends of Dean Road and Manor Road Cemetery in 2012, and the large chapel for which restoration is planned. Many stalls, activities for children and refreshment opportunities will be in place in the area surrounding the two chapels, and a WW1 themed guided cemetery walk will take place at 1.00 pm.
All funds raised will support the chapel restoration.
There is free three hour disc parking on Dean Road and other surrounding streets.
