his year we will have a wrought iron and farrier display, a farmers market, plus all the usual horse, cattle, sheep, goat, ferret, fur and feather classes. There will also be the bee keeping, produce and handicraft and the children’s sections.
The showground is open from 8:30am, with the first judging in the main ring at 8:45am through to 5pm. Entry for adults is £7 and school children (under 16) £3.
From the A171 Whitby to Guisborough Road, take the turning for Egton. Arriva will be running a bus, which leaves Langbourne Road, Whitby at 9.30, is at Aislaby at 9.39 and arrives at Egton 9.50. This is repeated every hour until 17.30. Buses back from Showfield are at 9.55 then every hour until 17.55 (back in Whitby at 15 mins past the hour.)
