For four nights only see Rievaulx Abbey in a whole new light as it’s flooded in bright, atmospheric colours. Ancient walls will become bathed in light as the sun sets and fire pits warm the autumn air.
Museum of the Moon, by Luke Jerram, will float above the historic ruins. The huge seven metre diameter moon will be spectacularly suspended high in the abbey, whilst music fills the space.
Roast a marshmallow or two in the fire pit as you listen to the sounds and explore the abbey after dark.
Please note that access to this event is through a FREE shuttle bus from central Helmsley and there is no parking at Rievaulx. More information will be available closer to the event.
