Take part, have fun, stay safe
Children love swimming outdoors, but swimming in the sea, rivers and lakes is very different to swimming in a pool. Swim safe offers a unique oppourtunity for children aged between 7-14 year olds to learn how to keep themselves safe when swimming outdoors and what to do if they get into trouble.
Take part in a fun, interactive practical Swim Safe session at North Bay, Scarborough and learn all about how to stay safe by the sea.
Each hour long session is completely free and included safety advice provided by qualified lifeguards and up to 30 minutes in-water tuition with accredited swimming teachers.
