Messy play will have activities on to entertain the small humans and parents can come and see the facilities available downstairs, our relaxation room and our communal hub, where you can come grab a cuppa, change nappies, feed and meet friends in. There will be cakes available, a tombola and a free pregnancy goody bag/Weleda treatment for all you pregnant ladies who sign up to a class on the day
Maria offers a wide range of services for expectant parents & new parents within The Village Scarborough & at The Balance Rooms in Pickering.
She is a qualified doula & birth worker and has worked for maternity services for 8 years. She is accredited to The Royal College of Midwives and offers Antenatal Education, Hypnobirthing, Doula services, Mother Wellness, Baby Massage & Breastfeeding support. She runs the Cloth Nappy library from The Village & offers baby wearing support here too. With the sling library running once a month. Maria is also a Chair of Coast & Country Maternity Voices working with the NHS to improve the maternity care in Malton & Scarborough.
The Village is a free hub to come into & will be open Monday, Wednesday & Fridays 10am – 2pm for you to come, meet Maria, grab a hot drink, change/feed baby, meet friends and see the services Maria offers. Maria can then make appointments for her services on days/times to suit your requirements should you wish. You can also book Maria via the website.
Maria created The Village to be the home of communication for all your pregnancy/birth/baby needs and we will put you in touch with other classes from here too, whether they be offered on site or externally. So that you receive the best for your pregnancy birth and parenthood, to suit your individual needs
