Thornton le Dale Scarecrow Festival takes place during the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
Anyone is welcome to enter! Entries close on the 20th August. Prize for the BEST SCARECROW.

Maps of the trail are available from the village green over the bank holiday weekend.
There will be over 60 scarecrows placed around the village. Including the scarecrows from the Emmerdale Advert – kindly sponsored by McCain’s Food Ltd.
