What will you do first?

Visit our wonderful animals in the animal barn, the Piglets Maternity Ward is a must see to get up close and watch the new born piglets nestling into mum!  Listen to our animal handlers talk about how we look after all our furry friends!  Jump for joy on the bouncy pillows, we have a dedicated bouncy pillow just for the under 5’s that all toddlers love!  Find where the fairies live down the Fairy Tale Trail.

Take a tractor and trailer ride up to our re-vamped Indoor Play Barn.  Adults can grab a coffee and a snack whilst the children get to play on our super new play equipment.  The Indoor Play Barn is perfect for when the weather is a little chilly.  Scramble over our Olym-Pig Assault Course or take a swing at mini golf.  For all the budding little farmers there is the tractor driving area and Dig and Play sand construction zone.

There is so much to see and do here during the week at Piglets!

Sewerby Hall and Gardens offers a great mix of heritage, interactive trails, play features and best of all, the zoo. Be entertained in the zoo with the friendly penguins, pygmy goats and Eccy the parrot, who is always keen to chat. The world-renowned exhibition, Wildlife Photographer of the Year, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, will be on display at Sewerby Hall and Gardens between 7 May – 17 July 2022, to accompany the exhibition there will be lots of extra family events. Dogs welcome in most of the outdoor areas, but must be kept on a lead.  There is a designated section in the cafe for dogs.

Betton Farm

Betton Farm is a Visitors Centre, Tea Room, Farm shop, Farm Yard and playground. There are plenty of things to do and see even in wet weather.  The farm animals are always a favourite with the children especially in spring time with our newly born lambs and piglets. With chickens, goats, guinea pigs and rabbits children can get close to their favourite farm animals.

Large grassed play equipment area with climbing frames and slides. For the under 5’s there’s a wide range of small ride on bikes and cars to play on.

Bridlington Birds of Prey & Animal Park

Award winning family owned animal park, wide variety of animals to see such as donkeys, alpacas, meerkats, rabbits…and several different kinds of birds, as well as reptiles. There are Meet the Meerkats and Bird of Prey Experiences. There is also a weekly Keeper club for children, allowing them to find out what it’s like to be a Zoo Keeper. African Plains and South American Animals coming soon. Gift shop on site and children’s play area.

Filey Bird Garden & Animal Park

Opening 9th April 2022. Family run attraction with a special mixture of animals, nature, exotic birds and gardens. Lovely place to visit with the children. Educational and well organised with well stocked café.

Flamingo Land

Thrilling Theme Park with big rollercoasters for older kids as well as a great choice of junior and family rides, including the dinosaur themed Dino-Stone Park, and the Peter Rabbit play ground.  They are also an award winning zoo, with 140 species of reptiles, mammals and birds. SEA LIFE Scarborough

The Deep

Located in Hull, The Deep is an award-winning aquarium home to 3,500 fish including green sawfish, spectacular sharks, rays and a colony of Gentoo penguins. Highlights include daily dive shows, animal presentations, touch pool sessions, the amazing glass tunnel and a ride in the glass lift through the 10m Endless Oceans exhibit.
