In line with Government guidance on COVID-19 and the recommendation to avoid gatherings and crowded places, many of our local family days out are looking at closing to the public. For any of the listings on here please check with the venue if it is open or closed before attending.
I am endeavouring to keep the listings as up to date as possible but please check with venues first, thanks for your understanding at this crazy time, Team Mumbler.
Leisure Centre & Indoor Swimming Pool – open to the public
Our indoor swimming pool is family friendly and ideal for those looking to swim with little ones! We have a shallow pool especially for babies and toddlers, plus a main pool which gradually deepens to a maximum or 1.5m. We offer splash sessions throughout the year on Saturday’s, plus sessions on a Sunday during our holiday park opening times, and another session on a Wednesday during school holidays! We always recommend checking our website before coming along as session times and opening can vary depending on the time of year.
We also host swimming lesson groups, Aquafit and other groups. As well as our indoor pool we have pool tables, squash courts, a small arcade and an indoor, soft multi court for kids to enjoy! For parents there are freshly ground coffees available from the kiosk.
