CHRISTMAS TREES AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Our Christmas trees are a fully regenerative crop, meaning more Christmas trees are planted than are cut down. Every year, we plant 60,000 new Christmas trees. Our plantations are an invaluable habitat for wildlife, and every year our trees are absorbing some 600 tonnes of CO2, whilst producing enough daily oxygen to support 4,000 people.

Because a Stockeld Christmas tree is for life, not just for Christmas!

Or you can order your tree online and have it delivered to your home – available to order now! For more information visit the website HERE

Whitby Boxing Day Dip 2023

Whitby Lion’s Boxing Day is Back for 2023! Are you crazy or brave enough to run into the North Sea on Boxing Day for charity?

It has become somewhat of a tradition in our beautiful little seaside town to enjoy a rather refreshing dip in the North Sea on Boxing Day morning. It’s certainly a unique and memorable experience that will raise lots of money for local charities. Fancy dress is a must, for many dippers, with prizes available for the best! In previous years, we have had some fantastic costumes such as dinosaurs, Batman and Robin, Christmas trees and even a team of traffic cones and a fancy dress wedding proposal!
