Marine Life Past and Present – Join us for a guided walk along the beach at Sewerby as we discover the wildlife that lives in our rockpools today and compare it with locally-found fossils. If you love rockpooling and fossil hunting, this is the event for you! This event involves a 2-3 mile walk along the beach over sand and rocky shore. Children of all ages are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the top of Sewerby steps, located opposite the bottom of the garden at The Ship Inn (Cliff Road, Bridlington, YO15 1ES). Friday 4th August – Adult £13, Child £8
Extreme Seashore Safari – The tides are extremely low so get ready for a seashore safari with a difference. We’ll take you on an exploration of the shore as we search for marine life which is only uncovered on a very low tide. Discover kelp forests, look out for lobsters and seek out starfish and sea slugs galore on this seashore safari special! Saturday 5th August and Sunday 1st October, Scarborough, South Bay. Adult £13, Child £8
