If you’re looking for a family day out pumpkin picking, we’ve got the low down on where to go locally and slightly further afield. 2020 has certainly been a different and tricky year so do check availability before you travel.
Pick Your Own Pumpkin at The Pumpkin Patch Produce, Bewholme!
We will be running Pick Your Own Pumpkin events where you can choose from our field of thousands of pumpkins grown on our East Yorkshire Pumpkin Farm! (PYO dates below). If you can’t make it to our Pick Your Own events, or if you’d like all the fun of the farm without the mud, then pop down to our HUGE farm display and shop where we have hundreds of pumpkins of all shapes, colours and sizes to choose from! The farm is open from 9am-6pm EVERY DAY up to Halloween. Check out the spooky barn and take a moment to pose in front of our pumpkin mountain for some Pumpkintastic autumn photos!
FREE ENTRY to the Farm and Pick Your Own events – you only pay for what you pick!
Pick Your Own Events (held in the pumpkin field, 2 miles from the farm), all 11am-3pm:
Normal pumpkin track with a huge selection of PYO Pumpkins with a barrow to your car….
No pumpkin carving but you can buy stencils to create your own designs (from easy to hard). Plus various Halloween goodies for sale.
Burger van will be offering Hot dogs & Burgers to eat in our outside space and there will be various marquees to allow social distancing. Separate payment points to eliminate having to queue in the shop.
What better way of choosing your perfect pumpkin, than actually choosing it from the field it was grown in?! The award winning Balloon Tree Farmshop has a unique take on pumpkin picking…PYO pumpkins! Take a walk into the pumpkin patch to find the size and shape you like the best, or if you don’t have the time, there will be plenty to choose from in farmshop.
This year it is a matter of booking you “Picking Slots”. Days will be released slowly to control the number of pickers on site at anyone time and to ensure there are enough pumpkins and social distancing can be maintained.
