Summer 2023 Activities on the Coast with The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust:
Seashore Safari – A guided tour and explore the rocky shore as we search for seaweed, seek out shannies and pursue periwinkles. Tickets start at £8.
Extreme Seashore Safari – An exploration of the shore as we search for marine life which is only uncovered on a very low tide. Discover kelp forests, look out for lobsters and seek out starfish and sea slugs galore on this seashore safari special!
Flamborough Wildlife Cruises, North Landing Flamborough. Set sail from North Landing beach on a traditional fishing coble for a different view of Yorkshire’s Seabird City, led by a wildlife guide. 1st, 15th, 22nd, and 25th – 29th July, 12pm. Tickets start at £11.
Marine Life Past and Present, Filey Brigg. A guided walk along the beach at Filey as we discover the wildlife that lives in our rockpools today and compare it with locally-found fossils. If you love rockpooling and fossil hunting, this is the event for you! 9th July, 2.30pm & 1st September 11am. Tickets start at £8.
National Marine Week, Living Seas Centre Flamborough. Join us at the Living Seas Centre to learn about marine conservation through a series of family-friendly workshops from 1st to 3rd August 2023. Tickets start at £8.
