The festival will be free to attend and will centre around a marked out arena for the fliers to launch their kites from, along with a host from the NKG organisation who will provide a commentary on the activity via PA system.
There will be additional activities for children to participate in, including kite making, and we will be inviting food and beverage traders to have a stall at the event.
They will be flying some of the world’s largest kites along with weird and wonderful examples that will be visible for miles around.
This event is free to attend so gather up the kids, take a blanket and sit and watch the skill of the
flyers. Also fairground rides, trampolines, inflatable slide along with ice cream etc and food available from Country Park Café throughout the weekend.
