Lego Church is starting on Wednesday afternoons from 4-5.15pm in term time at Westborough Methodist Church.

It is open for all ages – children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Pauline Quirke Academy is a weekend performing arts school for 4-18 year olds.

Students spend 3 hours with us, rotating through hour long sessions in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television. Dalby Forest Cycling Hub

The Dalby Forest Cycling Hub offers training for riders of all ages:

  • Learn to Ride Your Bike 1.5 hrs – £30
  • Mini Riders 2.5hrs, suitable for kids aged 7-10 years – £25
  • Young Riders 2.5 hrs, suitable for kids aged 10-16 years – £25

Escape Room, Scarborough

Re-opening for bookings on 1st April 2022.  Participants are “locked” in a room, and have only sixty minutes to solve a series of clues, puzzles and riddles to enable them to successfully complete their mission and ‘escape’ the room – and so win the game. This activity can also be used dry on colder days to allow the fun to continue. All participants must be accompanied by an Adult (an adult is someone over the age of 18.) and are under the full supervision of said adult. The Street Climbing Wall

Our Climbing Wall is Competent Climber-led. If you’ve passed our competency test you can check availability and book onto a session.  They are £7.50 for up to 2 hours (£6.00 under 18s), with a maximum of 4 climbers per session. Competent Climbers can sign-in two other people (aged 7-70) under their supervision.

If you are a novice – we are running 1-2-1 taster sessions for adults where you try out the wall with one of our competency testers. This will give you an idea if climbing is something you would like to pursue. The cost is £10.00 and includes equipment hire.

Whitby Museum

Visiting Whitby Museum is a good indoor activity for older children. It is home to many fascinating collections. The Archaeology Collection displays Bronze Age weapons and Roman lamps amongst other things. The Captain Cook collection contains many historically important artifacts, that illustrate his association with Whitby and events of his voyages (1768-1779). The museum houses one of the best collections of Jet artifacts in the world. There are many examples of jewellery (broaches and pendants), a chess table and even a model of Whitby Abbey!
