Celebrate Scarborough’s local Archaeology with us this year for a day jam packed with fun for all the family!
Travel back in time at the Rotunda and handle real artefacts from the past, be an archaeologist and go on a mini dig, get crafty with ceramics and see how flint tools are made.
Make your way to the Art Gallery to try your hand at cave painting and get messy printing your own designs from nature… Don’t forget to dress to mess!
Go behind the scenes at Woodend and visit our usually unseen archaeology collections with store tours and expert-led talks. Then experience life in the wild, learn bushcraft skills, build a shelter and dress up in Stone Age clothes.
