Get ready to embrace the dark side of festive cheer as the ancient folklore of Krampus comes to life in the heart of Whitby. Offering a unique and thrilling experience for participants and spectators alike. This event brings a touch of eerie excitement to the festive season, offering a delightful blend of folklore, creativity, and community spirit.
Activities will be taking part through the Saturday at the Chapel on the Hill, Brunswick Street as Krampus begin to appear from around 12.00pm. Parade starts at 3.30pm from the Bandstand and the finale is at the Whalebones finishing at 5.00pm. This is then followed by a performance at 5.30pm by the spectacular fire dancers and drummers Mister Fox at Dock End.
The parade is a fundraiser for Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary
