There’s lots going on at Sledmere this Easter – with 3 weekends of our popular Lambing event, starting from Sat 23rd March – a great opportunity to meet our newborn lambs, enjoy cuddles with our fluffy little flock and if you are around at feeding time you might even get a chance to give them a bottle.
Not only that but we are thrilled to be joined by Story Craft Theatre on Tuesday 2nd April for their theatre show: E-I-E-I-OH NO! It is a very busy time of year on the farm and there is so much to do – come and join us for one udder-believable, hay-larious interactive adventure that is packed full of colourful characters, puppets, games and fun for all the family! Story Craft Theatre is an award-winning children’s theatre company based in York and run by professional theatre-makers Cassie Vallance and Janet Bruce. Our ever popular Easter Egg-Styravaganza Egg hunt will get your little piggies running around to solve the puzzles and find out where the eggs are! We have two hunts one for the under 7’s and one for the over 7’s and everyone gets a prize! Take the Tractor and Trailer Ride to the Indoor Play Barn where we are now serving hot food and delicious coffee!
Lambing Live is in full swing with lots more Mummy sheep about the give birth – if you are lucky you can see them being born! We also have lots of new born lambs that need bottle feeding every day, so come and help us at our daily sessions!
