Calling all valiant adventurers this Easter weekend! Join us on the hunt for legendary dragon eggs at Scarborough Castle or Whitby Abbey. Set off with an intrepid character from the past to crack the clues and claim your chocolate reward.

Join us for our Easter Quiz Trail. Pop into the Dalby Forest Visitor Centre and pick up a quiz sheet (£1)before embarking on this family friendly themed walk.
Find and name all the bunnies nestling along the path, answer all the questions and return to the Visitor centre to collect your prize for completing the trail!

Easter Trail 30 March 2018 – 8 April 2018
An Easter trail around the magnificent grounds of the Hall, solving clues while exploring the extensive gardens. Once the conundrum has been solved, every child will receive an Easter treat.
There are puzzles to solve and games to play, while in the craft tent children can get creative with colouring. Excitingly, there is a giant golden egg to find, which the Easter Bunny has been hidden somewhere in the grounds!
Easter Egg Hunt
Sunday 1st April and Monday 2nd April, 11am to 5pm
On Easter Sunday and Monday, children are invited to join the Easter Bunny and search for some of the many thousands of chocolate Easter eggs that are hidden in the Hall’s woodland.
The stunning gardens and grounds also offer a magnificent yew tree maze (perfect for letting off steam), giant board games including chess, draughts, quoits, snakes and ladders and hop scotch, while the Children’s Corner is the perfect place to relax and spot butterflies and bees emerging to enjoy the spring flowers.

With egg-citing activities, cute baby animals and lots of family fun, there’s plenty to see and do this Easter at Piglets Adventure Farm.
Visitors can take part in the Easter Egg Hunt, find hidden chicks around the farm, grab an egg from each one and then receive a special treat!
Other egg-citing activities include lambing live, lamb bottle feeding, baby chicks, Chicken Flappin’ and the Magic Hatter returns with his comedy magic and Springtime silliness! Visit Flamingo Land between 30th March and 15th April and join in the Easter Egg Hunt in the Dino Dig. Find an egg in the sandpit with a bucket and spade and then redeem this in the Dino shop for a free egg treat.

Enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt with a twist around the gardens. Several birds have lost their eggs, and we need some intrepid egg-splorers to help reunite them. Look out for wildlife along the way with our new bird spotters guide and then hop on a binocular boat tour of the Great Lake to spot some of the water birds Castle Howard is famous for.
Make a day of it by taking part in Easter crafts and games, enjoying homemade treats from our cafes and taking a spring stroll on a daffodil walk.
