Pannett Park, Whitby Pannett Park, a haven of peace and tranquillity and located close to the centre of Whitby in North Yorkshire, is well worth a visit, whichever season of the year. Excellent for family and nature walks. There’s also a unique Jurassic garden which is complete with a life-size replica of one of the sea creatures of the time. Add in a tree, maths and turtle trails to follow as well as both open and enclosed picnic areas and the whole park offers enormous family appeal. Our younger visitors can enjoy creating leaf rubbings whist on the tree trail. Paper and crayons are available from the staff at the Museum desk.

Ravenscar Easter Trail
Easter trail runs from 15th to 18th April 2022, 10.30am – 3.30pm. A series of clues takes you on a nature walk from the visitor centre and leads you approximately 2km around Ravenscar, taking in some intriguing spots and wide coastal views as you solve the clues. Then head back to the centre to claim a deliciously chocolatey prize. £3 per trail. Booking not needed. Suitable for age 5 and over.

Robin Hood’s Bay Easter Trail
An Easter adventure around Robin Hood’s Bay, runs from 9th to 18th April 2022, 10.30am – 3.30pm. Become a seaside adventurer as you explore the narrow, winding streets of Robin Hood’s Bay to complete a series of activities. Then head back to the Old Coastguard Station to collect your Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg. £3 per trail. Booking not needed.

Bempton Cliffs That’s Not My Nest
Join in with RSPB Big Wild Easter trail at Bempton Cliffs from the 1st to 24th of April 2022. Pepper the Puffin is returning to the reserve after a long cold Winter out at sea. They need to find their nest so they can welcome their new Puffling into the world. There are lots of nests at Bempton Cliffs this Easter, but which belongs to Pepper and which belongs to their wildlife friends? Complete the trail and pick up your Easter activity pack from the welcome area.
