Welcome back, one step at a time
We know how valuable outdoor spaces have been to everyone during the last
year. Many of you enjoyed visiting Dalby Forest and our other beautiful
woodlands across Yorkshire district. Our sites and key facilities remained open
and we are now working to fully reopen safely.
Planning ahead is good
As restrictions hopefully ease and the weather improves we expect more visitors
at our sites. Visitors need to plan ahead and consider changing plans if sites are
already busy. If you can visit during the week or later in the day, it may be more
enjoyable for you.
We want our visitors to enjoy a positive and safe experience in the outdoors.
This means everyone acting responsibly with parking, litter, fires and protecting
wildlife. That way our woodlands can be preserved, protected and enjoyed by
generations to come. See forestryengland.uk/visit for more information.
Thanks to our members
Local Dalby members were able to visit during the national lockdown but we
know for some members it wasn’t possible and we look forward to welcoming
you back. While you’ve been away we’ve been working harder than ever to care
for the forest you love. Like other businesses coronavirus has reduced our
income and we greatly appreciate your support, thank you.
