Festive days out on the North York Moors

The North York Moors is a very special place at Christmas time, with festive activities popping up throughout the quaint towns and villages within the National Park for the whole family to enjoy.

Not only are there many activities on offer, our beautiful landscapes adorned with sparkly frost are the perfect place for a wintery walk to get you in the festive spirit. Wrap up warm with a flask of your favourite and head to a trail, you may even be lucky enough to see our landscapes sprinkled with snow!

Christmas is coming to Danby Lodge National Park Centre, Sutton Bank National Park Centre and Inspired by… gallery, so explore what is on offer and join us to celebrate.

Merry Mouse Trail
11 November – 5 January

Explore Merry Mouse Children’s Christmas Trail at Danby Lodge or Sutton Bank. The creatures of the wood are feeling sleepy as it is time for them to hibernate. Help Merry Mouse discover the story that will put the woodland to sleep. No booking required, please check visitor centre opening hours.
