Eating out with kids can sometimes be something of a challenge (understatement of the year!) There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in the Scarborough & Whitby area which really do welcome children and families so I’ve compiled a list of them here.
These places are not all ‘exclusively’ for families or children but they have all shown thoughtful touches or great facilities (things like pushchair access, changing facilities, highchairs and so on)

The Hub is the Coffee Lounge at The Summit. Fantastic range of coffees and teas, plus hot chocolate and cold drinks and a small range of snacks on offer. There is also a large creche with lots of toys, and lots of space for buggies – perfect for groups of friends to come and relax with a drink while the kids play.
Lovely large space for hire for parties and they put all sorts of activities on from youth clubs and baby play to games for the elderly. Fantastic for lunch and play dates with young children with free play area. Allergy friendly menu too.
