Peep Workshops

Our ‘Peep’ workshops are a relaxed environment where you can learn about your child’s development. We don’t ‘teach’ you how to help your child develop – we give you the tools and ideas to do it yourself! Here at Peep we know that attending workshops can be daunting, which is why we’ve made our Peep workshops different. Our workshops are tailored to you, we don’t follow a strict schedule. Is there something specific that you would like our advice on? Not a problem! We’re here to support, listen and help where we can.

There are 5 elements to a Peep session:

‘Hello/goodbye song’ – a friendly welcome for all and an exciting farewell!

Songs and rhymes – learn songs to sing at home too

Storytime – helps children to listen and engage with a story

Talk time with parents – got a question or just want to listen? This part is just for our parents.

Things to try at home – learn how to use workshops activities in your own home

£2 plus 50p for every extra child

Hutton Buscel Village Hall, Main Street, Hutton Buscel, YO13 9NL

Mumbler review here with thanks to Beth.

I regularly attend Tweenies with my two children, ages 2 and 4, as it’s a lovely group.

The class is held every Wednesday throughout term time at Hutton Buscel village hall (ample free parking on site) , children are invited from birth to 4 years old. It costs £2 per child plus 50p for every extra child which I think is a great price as it runs from 9-12, perfect to go to straight after the school run!

The group is set up with a range of different toys for free flow style play, breaking off for a snack part way through the morning. The snack changes weekly but always has a couple of types of fruit and something savoury (toast, teacakes, etc), adults can help themselves to tea and coffee too.

If the weather is nice then the lovely ladies who run the group open up the outdoor area for the children to enjoy.

I would definitely recommend this group, sometimes it can be tricky finding a play group that a toddler and preschooler both enjoy but this really does with the range of toys on offer.

The village play park is just infront of the village hall so you can even take a picnic to enjoy after the group has finished!
