Recently, Mel, one of our reviewers popped along to Jack in the Box, Beverley. What a fantastic day they had! Read further for a few top tips….
Jack’s Mini Village is located on the first floor above Jack in the Box Soft Play. The soft play area has 3 different awesome zones – large gated baby area, toddler play frame and large junior play frame – we have something for everyone with our exciting slides, interactive ball pools and captivating sensory areas, we even have an interactive game floor. There is also a huge menu with lots of tasty, freshly made food.
Jack’s Mini Village Role Play Centre
We loved how bright and big each section was it allowed a good number of kids to get involved and work together.
- Baby section is on the grass. This is ideal if you have a bigger one as you can see into a good 90% of the sections from there.
- Knowing there is a child proof gate gives you peace of mind. If you wanted a brew that the kids are secure in there
- They have 2 members of staff in the role play which is great as they get involved and encourage the kids in each section by playing the customer or helping with the dressing up costumes
- Good variety of roles with a nice selection of outfit sizes to cater for the older ones during weekend and holidays.
- Do’s – SOCKS! With the hard floor bit chilly on your feet even with socks on.
- Don’t – go over loaded, i.e. prams and loads of bags. Although the cafe area is a good size, a few multi buggies can get a bit clustered to get around.
- Due to the booking system and the numbers being limited, you know its not going to be a total wash out with too many kids to divert around. Big thumbs up!!
Jack in the Box Soft Play
- Good sized play frame with plenty of tables in good view to keep an eye on children if they are old enough to run riot freely.
- Brightly coloured, clean and well maintained.
- The main frame is suitable for multi ages, not just the older children. Freds managed a good 85% of the climbing etc on his own with me just following like a lost part 😂 (Freddie is 2 years)
- Toddler area is well sized to allow adults to comfortably get around without it being too big to over face the littlies.
- Baby area is gated off keeping the babies safe from the hyper ones! And has a fab bubble tower!
A great day with loads of fun and very tired children afterwards!!
