The Scarborough Fair Collection hosts a magnificent working collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Vintage Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs topped off with a ‘Mighty’ Wurlitzer Organ in our spacious ballroom. Set in the scenic grounds of the Flower of May Holiday Park on the coast road between Scarborough and Filey.

Here at the museum we have a well stocked tea bar providing, sandwiches, cakes and lavish afternoon teas. Sit in the ballroom and be entertained by the vintage dance organs while you eat.

Once you’ve had a look around the museum, make the most of your day and take the little one(s) swimming too! The indoor pool on the Flower of May is open to the public!

Crafty Creations Cafe

Paint a pot and try other crafts at the Crafty Creations Cafe, a place fun for all ages and all weathers. We also offer children’s craft time that provides a range of affordable activities suitable for younger children. Or you can also book a  children’s party or an adult only craft evening.

Imagination Village

The Deep

Located in Hull, The Deep is an award-winning aquarium home to 3,500 fish including green sawfish, spectacular sharks, rays and a colony of Gentoo penguins. WHISH Sensory Room

A multi-sensory sensory room is a stimulating environment aimed at developing coordination, motor skills, colour recognition, communication and sensory skills for children and adults with sensory impairments. Whitby Amusements on Pier Road

Whitby Museum

Visiting Whitby Museum is a good indoor activity for older children. It is home to many fascinating collections. The Archaeology Collection displays Bronze Age weapons and Roman lamps amongst other things. The Captain Cook collection contains many historically important artifacts, that illustrate his association with Whitby and events of his voyages (1768-1779). The museum houses one of the best collections of Jet artifacts in the world. There are many examples of jewellery (broaches and pendants), a chess table and even a model of Whitby Abbey!
