This heart-warming reimagining of The Ugly Duckling tells the tale of a plucky little bird picked on by the other farmyard animals because he’s different. Ugly embarks on an adventure, meeting an array of characters who teach him that it takes all sorts to make a world, and that he’s more than just his looks.

Surprising everyone – including its composers – by beating The Lion King and Mamma Mia! to the 2000 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Honk! has had over 8,000 productions globally. British writing duo Stiles and Drewe’s other works include West End smash-hits Half a Sixpence, Mary Poppins and The Wind in the Willows at the London Palladium. Described as ‘flawless’, ‘relentlessly excellent’ and ‘an absolute joy to watch’, this musical egg-stravaganza bursts with puppetry, magic and illusions… and water guns!
